Thanks to its 2-ply construction (paper + fluting, no second liner), the board stays pliable and wraps easily around irregular product shapes.
2-ply corrugated board in rolls is a corrugated material made of a paper layer and a fluting layer (without a second flat liner), wound onto rolls of a defined width. This construction keeps the material more flexible than standard 3-ply board in sheets, making it an ideal solution wherever wrapping, filling, or cushioning of irregular shapes and varying lengths is required.
Roll-form board is primarily used as a wrapping and protective material – in the furniture industry for wrapping furniture bodies and components, in industry for protecting pipes, profiles, rods, and panels, and as void-fill material inside shipping cartons to prevent product movement. It is also used as a protective layer between products during storage.
We supply rolls in various widths and flute weights, selected for the specific application – from lighter grades for delicate wrapping to heavier, more cushioning variants for heavier or more impact-sensitive products. Roll length and core type can also be specified to match the customer's packing line requirements.
