Die-cutting

Flat die cutting

In our production, we use modern flat dies with a format up to B0, which allow us to precisely reproduce even the most demanding packaging designs.
Thanks to this technology, we create shaped and non-standard packaging with high cutting accuracy and a perfect fit of structural elements.
Flat die cutting gives us full control over the details – from simple boxes to advanced forms that must look and function perfectly.

Rotary die cutting

We also have a rotary die cutter with a working width of 2500 mm, designed for large formats and high volumes.
This solution is ideal for flap and large-size packaging, where efficiency and repeatability are important.
The machine allows us to cut cardboard quickly and cleanly, while maintaining high edge precision – even for the most demanding projects.

Cutting on a Boxmaker machine

In our production, we also use boxmaker machines, which allow for quick and flexible cutting of corrugated cardboard packaging without the use of cutting dies.
This is the perfect solution for large formats, short runs, or individual orders where lead time and cost-effective production are important.

The boxmaker enables automatic creasing, cutting, scoring, and perforating of cardboard in a single work cycle.
This allows us to create large-size packaging tailored to specific product dimensions, such as furniture, audio/video equipment, bicycles, or industrial components.

The machine allows for quick format changes without the need for cutting dies, which reduces production preparation time and enables packaging personalization even for small runs.
This solution combines efficiency, flexibility, and precision, while ensuring the highest quality of cutting and creasing.

How does flat die cutting differ from rotary die cutting?

Flat die cutting is a precise process — ideal for complex, retail packaging.
Rotary die cutting, on the other hand, is suitable for large formats and high volumes because it is faster and more efficient.

When is flat die cutting the right choice?

When detail accuracy and aesthetics are important, e.g., in the production of shaped or laminated packaging.
Flat die cutting guarantees a perfect fit and sharp edges.

What products is rotary die cutting used for?

Mainly for flap and large-size packaging – i.e., where the sheet size exceeds the capabilities of flat die cutting and production efficiency is a priority.

Can both technologies be combined?

Yes. In many projects, we combine flat and rotary die cutting depending on the type of packaging and stage of production.
This allows us to fulfill a full range of orders – from small series of product packaging to large transport batches.

What are the advantages of cutting on a boxmaker?

The biggest advantage is that there is no need to create a cutting die, which significantly reduces lead times and costs.
The machine allows for quick changeovers, working with large cardboard formats, and high cutting precision – all in one run.
