Laminating cardboard packaging is, in a sense, decorating the packaging, increasing its aesthetic and durability values. Laminating is applying a three- or five-layer veneer to the corrugated board in the form of paper, often refined with varnish or foil. The veneer can be additionally printed with any graphics.
Laminated boxes can be additionally covered with matt or glossy varnish on the entire outer surface of the cardboard or its elements, e.g. by emphasizing the printed logo of the brand. Thanks to these measures, cardboard gains greater strength during transport, greater resistance to weather conditions, greater resistance to moisture. An attractive, elegant and durable box is created, most often used for packaging sales products in every industry.
For marketers, it is the perfect packaging, protects the product against external factors, but also helps them to promote the brand, effectively present the product, stimulate its sale, distinguish the product on the store shelf. Printing on laminated boxes can be additionally covered with varnish, foils, embossing or hot-stamping.
